The Volunteer Center of San Gabriel Valley
VCSGV connects volunteers and their abilities to serve in the community by identifying needs, creating programs, volunteer opportunities, recruiting and placing volunteers in the San Gabriel Valley.
Recreation
The Monrovia Senior Clubs meet weekly at the Community Center and are open to all seniors 50 yrs and older. Activities include monthly Guest Speakers, health presentations, entertainment, and lunch.

Federal Food Assistance Programs
Seniors and others who receive Social Security can qualify for food stamps.
The Medicare grocery allowance is offered through certain Medicare Advantage plans, not traditional Medicare. This Medicare Grocery Benefit card may be available to those with specific chronic conditions.
